Terms and Conditions

The V-CAB Transfer team warmly welcomes you. By completing your booking, you agree to and accept our terms and conditions. Additionally, you confirm that you are over 18 years old and possess the legal authority to accept these terms. You also acknowledge that you have read and understood them.

Passenger transportation is directly provided by a licensed transport company, SIA V-CAB (Supplier), VAT: LV40203248658. By ordering any transfer services from v-cabtransfer.com you are entering into contract with the transfer service Supplier and not with v-cabtransfer.com. These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made with the Supplier’s Company or agent for the Supplier, regardless of the booking method, and are as follows:

Booking on the V-CAB Transfer Platform

The client who completes the booking form is the purchaser of services from Supplier V-CAB Transfer. The client is responsible for the information provided while filling out the booking form and accepts the booking terms on behalf of each member of the group (if there are multiple passengers). Please note that all children are considered passengers, regardless of age, and must be included in the number of passengers specified during booking.

When completing the booking form, please indicate the date and time of the transfer start (pick-up), not the landing time of your aircraft (for airport transfers). Generally, you should add 30-45 minutes to the landing time (for customs processing), and this will be the logical start time of your transfer (see Transfer).

If the client provided incorrect information in the booking form or wishes to change the booking conditions, they must promptly notify V-CAB Transfer in writing via email. If the transfer booking has already been confirmed, changing the date or time of the booking may result in the cancellation of the original booking, and V-CAB Transfer’s cancellation policy will apply (see Cancellation). The client may need to make a new booking with the correct time and date, along with the payment of any applicable fees.

The client can leave additional questions and requests in a designated box when filling out the reservation form.

After completing the reservation and accepting our terms, the Provider of Transportation Services will process your request within two hours, excluding nighttime from 22:00 to 07:00, Central European Time (UTC + 1). After processing the request, the Provider of Transportation Services will contact the client by email and inform them of the approval of the reservation or, in rare instances, the inability to fulfill the order.

Terms of Service will be provided to you upon booking confirmation.

Payments

Once the booking is approved, the client will receive an invoice with booking details via email. There will also be a payment link. After the payment is complete, the client will receive a receipt and confirmation of the booking by email.

The booking confirmation confirms the purchase of the service from the Supplier through the V-CAB Transfer platform. The Supplier reserves the right to reject any order. The Company will notify the client by email and issue a full refund within 12 hours after the email is sent.

Luggage

The supplier limits the amount of luggage to one full-size suitcase (not exceeding 70/40/20 cm) and one piece of hand luggage per person. Any oversized baggage (such as suitcases, skis, snowboards, boxes, strollers, etc.) must be declared at the time of booking. Ski or snowboard bags must not exceed 190 cm in length. If additional luggage can be accommodated, this will be indicated in the booking confirmation email.

The supplier reserves the right to charge an additional fee for oversized baggage or refuse to carry such items. Failure to provide information about additional baggage may result in the denial of carriage without a refund of the paid transfer fee.

Transfer

At the scheduled transfer time, the driver will be waiting for the client at the agreed-upon location.

Late Arrivals and Waiting Times:
The driver will be waiting for the client at the agreed-upon time according to the information in the confirmed booking. Free waiting time is 60 minutes for airport pickups, 30 minutes for train station pickups, and 15 minutes for all other locations. After this waiting period, the client will be considered late, and no refund will be possible. However, depending on availability, additional waiting time is possible at a rate of 60 euros per hour.

In case of a delay, the client must contact the driver by phone. The driver’s phone number will be sent to the client’s email 24 hours before the scheduled transfer as a reminder. We will do our best to accommodate the client’s delay and modify the transfer as needed, but it depends on the availability of our vehicles. The supplier strictly follows its predefined routes. Any change in the route at the client’s request can only be made with the dispatcher’s agreement, which may incur additional costs for the client.

Child Seats and Boosters

Child seats and boosters are available free of charge upon request during the booking process. According to EC Directive 2003/20/EC, all children must use child seats up to 12 years of age or up to a height of 135 cm.

Prohibited Actions During Transfer

Smoking and the consumption of alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited during the transfer.

Refusal of Service

The supplier reserves the right to authorize the driver to refuse transportation to any person under the influence of alcohol or drugs or whose behavior is considered dangerous or unpredictable for the driver or other passengers.

Cleaning Penalty

A client who has soiled the interior of the van must pay a cleaning fee of 100 euros on the spot to cover the cleaning costs. The cleaning penalty must be paid to the driver immediately. If the fine is not paid, the supplier reserves the right to refuse to continue the transfer.

Cancellation Policy

The client has the right to cancel a confirmed booking by notifying the supplier via email. Cancellation confirmation will also be sent by email. Cancellation must be made more than 48 hours before the scheduled transfer pick-up time.

Refunds are issued under the following conditions:

A full refund (100%) is provided if the cancellation is confirmed no later than 144 hours (6 days) before the scheduled transfer start. In this case, an administrative fee of 30 euros is deducted to cover administrative and banking costs.
When canceling a confirmed booking no later than 48 hours (2 days) before the scheduled transfer start, a refund of 50% of the transfer cost will be issued.
If you cancel your reservation in les than 48 hours, the refund is not possible.
All refunds are processed within 14 days from the date of a confirmed cancellation. The supplier reserves the right to cancel any confirmed booking at any time if it cannot properly provide the service, and in such cases, the full cost of the transfer will be refunded.

Limitation of Liability

The supplier will make every effort to ensure the timely arrival of the vehicle and that the client reaches the destination on time. However, the passenger transportation service provider is not liable for expenses or losses incurred by the client due to circumstances beyond the supplier’s control. Such circumstances include but are not limited to:

Unforeseen delays due to traffic
Incidents causing delays
Extreme or adverse weather conditions
Vehicle detentions by authorities
Compliance with police orders
Vehicle breakdown
Third-party actions
Vandalism and terrorism
Issues caused by another client
Death and accidents on the road
Roadblocks due to strikes or holidays
Natural disasters
Objects not suitable for the booked service
Other circumstances beyond the control of the supplier.
If, for any reason under its responsibility, the supplier cannot deliver the client to the confirmed destination, the supplier will arrange alternative transportation, such as a taxi, another bus, or a train. The reimbursement by the supplier for the cost of alternative transport should not exceed the cost of the travel to the destination originally paid to the supplier by the client.

Changes to Contractual Terms

V-CAB Transfer reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions periodically. The terms and conditions that apply to the purchase of a transfer are those in effect at the time of payment for the booking.
